Xenia Azevedo
My title says broker, but the part I care about is advocate. Plenty of people can read you a list of plans. Fewer keep answering in March, when a bill you do not recognize shows up. That second part is the job. Two things I raise on purpose: Extra Help, which lowers drug costs for those who qualify and often goes unclaimed, and long-term care, which Medicare largely does not cover.
I live in San Diego, and three languages run through my house: English, Portuguese, and Spanish. That is not a résumé line for me, it is how my family talks. I have watched people I love nod along to something they did not agree to because someone was in a hurry, in a language that was not theirs. If English is not the language you think in, we do not have to use it. Se você prefere português, podemos conversar em português. Si prefiere español, hablamos en español.
