In the last three years of her life, my grandma lost over 1.25 million dollars to health insurance costs and fiduciary misconduct. I watched it happen. So I vowed I would do everything in my power to make sure people who feel they have no voice get heard.
In practice that means two things. Getting your first enrollment right when you turn 65, and then sitting back down with you every fall, because plans change every October and nobody sends you a warning letter when yours gets worse. I am licensed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and North Carolina, and I help check coverage options against your doctors and prescriptions before I say a word about it.
That is the whole reason I do this work. Truthful, respectful, determined, for anyone willing to ask. I am the voice you seek. The voice to be heard.
